Sacred Music in a Sacred Space
Whether you’re into God or not, there’s something special about listening to real live people singing in an airy, hushed space. Maybe it’s the acoustics, maybe it’s the churchy incense, but choral concerts are a great place to chill out. With its soaring ceilings, the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola is ideal for tuning in and dropping out to Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. The Choir and Orchestra of St. Ignatius will also perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, which even you know.

Bernstein’s kid, Jamie (age nine), will host the event with director and playwright Tom Dulack. Delta David Gier conducts Bernstein’s music.
