Learn to Cook Salmon for Free, From Master Sandwichmakers

Filed Under: Food and Drink Special Events

What do you eat for dinner? Here's what I've had for dinner this week:

  • Sunday: (superbowl) 3 ribs, 3 wings, 1 cup chowder, 1/4 cheese sandwich, 4 beers, 2 deviled eggs, various dips, 50-1,000 chips
  • Monday: 3 wines, a slice of bread with jelly on it.
  • Tuesday: Jerk chicken wings, a veggie burger, various dim sum things that were free at a Super Tuesday party, 1 mojito, 1 beer, 4 wines
  • Wednesday: cottage cheese, hummus with cucumbers, Smart Puffs, 2 wines
Not a lot of cooking going on. Maybe my life would be different (cheaper but worse) if cooking were something I liked/knew how to do. Do you feel that way? There's a free cooking class tonight, hosted by bustling "restaurant" (read: jazzy sandwich store) Starwich, highlighting salmon, that wonderful fish that always tastes delicious, even if it's prepared poorly (according to me). It's the first in a series of free cooking tutorials that include chef instruction and demonstration, plus eating everything you made at the end.

RSVP to this number, 212-462-2310, quickly, for any remaining spots. It takes place in Midtown, on 42nd St. Free lesson, free salmon. Making things for boyfriends, girlfriends, self, food art.
